Support Materials for ClubSafe Members

ClubSafe previously conducted training seminars to assist staff from member clubs with the implementation of the ClubSafe program.

In June 2005 ClubSafe launched the ClubSafe Awareness Video/DVD. A copy of this Video/DVD has been supplied to all member clubs.

About ClubSafe

Developed by ClubsNSW, ClubSafe assists member clubs to meet government legislative requirements as well as community expectations relating to responsible gambling procedures. ClubSafe members benefit from being able to access the following services and support:

* ClubSafe Counselling Service - the telephone crisis counselling and referral service for ClubSafe member clubs patrons and staff, operating on 1800 99 77 66, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (referral to G-line outside of these hours.

* ClubSafe Awareness Video/DVD - designed to assist the managers of ClubSafe clubs to raise the awareness and understanding of the ClubSafe program amongst all club staff members (one complimentary copy has been supplied to all ClubSafe member clubs in June 2005).

* ClubSafe News - the quarterly four page newsletter filled with helpful information and latest news for ClubSafe member clubs.

* Member Enquiries Centre assistance - MEC staff are available to provide specialist advice on the implementation of the ClubSafe program, operating on 1300 730 001, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

* Website support materials - information on the ClubSafe program accessible by ClubSafe members only on this web page.

* Resources - additional copies of ClubSafe materials such as signage, counselling cards and operational manuals are available for purchase by ClubSafe members.

* Access to signage provider - B&N Changeable Signs can provide ClubSafe members with customised ClubSafe signage made on request. Call 02 9755 2722.

* Independent ClubSafe Compliance Audits - independent audits of how well individual venues are complying with the ClubSafe program are available on request. For further information contact the MEC on 1300 730 001.

ClubSafe membership is based on a yearly subscription and the membership year is from September to August.
